Karnataka TET Syllabus 2018-19

About Karnataka TET:-

The Department of School Education, Government of Karnataka is going to conduct Teacher eligibility Test 2016. There Are Many Candidate who are willing to give this Exam. They need to know the correct exam syllabus for KARTET 2018-19. So, here we have given Syllabus and exam Pattern information for the candidates.

Exam Pattern:-

All questions in KARTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of KARTET.

(i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.

(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

The candidates appearing in KARTET will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.

IV.Mathematics

a) Content:- Geometry, Shapes & Spatial Understanding, Solids around Us, Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Measurement, Weight, Time, Volume, Data Handling, Patterns, Money

b) Pedagogical issues

V. Environmental Studies

a) Content :- Family and Friends, Relationships, Work and Play, Animals, Plants

Paper II (Elementary Stage)

I. Child Development and Pedagogy

a) Child Development (Elementary School Child)

b)Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs
