Exam Pattern :

The Exam Pattern will be as Follows:

  • The Exam will be written Objective Type
  • The written Exam will be of 100 Marks/Questions.
  • The Time Duration for the Exam will be 90 minutes (1:30 Hours).
  • There will be No Negative Marking.

Note :

Minimum qualifying marks in Written Test overall Cut – Off marks would be 50% of General / OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and sectional Cut – Off marks would be 40%. The Minimum qualifying overall Cut – Off marks and Sectional Cut-off marks in the written test will be relaxed by 5% to SC/ST PWBd Categories candidates for the trades reserved for them.

In this part question asked related with Reasoning Abilities, Generic Aptitude including quantitative Aptitude, Technical Knowledge in the relevant Discipline & Basic English & Language Skills Trade as Technical Etc.

Technical Knowledge in the relevant Discipline : In this part the questions will be asked from Technical line.

Basic English & Language Skills : Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.

Reasoning Ability : Questions will be asked from problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, verbal and figure classification, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.

General Aptitude : It would include  questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series.

Quantitative aptitude – Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Classification, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern-folding & unfolding, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Blood relation, similarities and differences, Word Building, Coding and de-coding, Other sub-topics, if any Numerical operations.
