Sikkim Police has Recently Announce about the Recruitment of 342 Posts of GD Constable, GD Constable (Women), Constable Technical & Constable Technical (Women). Many Interested & Eligible Candidates Filled there Application Form. The Application Process was Started from 23.01.2018 & Conducted Till 28.02.2018. About Exam :

All the Eligible Candidates Who Filled there Online Application Form will Face the Exam. The Exam Will be Written Type & Will be Conducted Soon. The Physical Exam Will be Started from 19 March to 29 March, 2018.

A selection process including various stages like physical test, trade test and written test etc. So, they must have the proper knowledge of tests which they will have to face at each different stages. There is more and more competition increasing day by day, its become challenging as hard nut to crack. Now, here we’re providing prescribed latest scheme of Sikkim Police Constable Syllabus and whole selection procedure, which may helps the aspirants to chase this challenge.

SELECTION PROCESS

(a) Physical Measurement,

(b) Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET),

(c) Written Examination &

(d) Viva-voce.

Physical Measurement

(a) Height

– 5’3’’ minimum for male-

5’ min. for female

(b) Chest

-32” min. with min. 2” expansion for male.

(c) Weight

-50 Kgs. min. for male

-45 Kgs. min. for female

Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET)

For GD Constable :- This Exam Will be of 75 Marks. Each candidate will get only one change in 100 mtr. And 1500 mtr. Run and three chances each in High Jump, Long Jump and Short Put.

For Constable Technical :- This Exam Will be of 50 Marks. Each candidate will get only one change in 100 mtr. and 1500 mtr. run and three chances each in High Jump, Long Jump an d Short Put.

Written Examination

Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:

For GD Constable :-

• The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
• The Exam Will be of 100 Marks.

Exam Syllabus : The Exam Syllabus will be as Follows:

General Knowledge (Sikkim & India) :- History, Geography and Socio Economic development of India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.

History of Sikkim :- Foundation of Sikkim, Relation Between Sikkim & British India, Dynasty of Sikkim, Culture of Sikkim, Production of Sikkim & etc.

Reasoning Test :- Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space Visualization, Problem-Solving, Analysis Judgement, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship, Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, Verbal & Figure Classification, Arithmetical Number Series & etc.

Science :- Questions of General Science will include to test knowledge of matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject. It will Also Include the Knowledge of the Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology form the level of 12th Standard.

Short Essay & Letter Writing :- In This Session Candidates have to Write the Short Essay & Letter on the Given Topic at the time of Examination.

Viva – voce

Only those candidates who qualify in written test shall be called for viva – voce. The viva – voce Will be of 25 Marks.
