Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’. .The Process for Submitting the Application Form was Conducted Online. The Last Date for Submitting the Online Application form was 15.07.2017. Candidates can check the Detailed recruitment from the Below Provided Link.

About Exam :

The written test of Stenographer was conducted on 11 to 14 Sept 2017. The Successful Candidates of Written Exam will face the Skill Test. The Skill Test will be Conducted Soon. Candidates Can Check the result of Candidates for Skill test from the Below Link.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test Date → 26.02.2018 to 01.03.2018

SSC Stenographer Admit Card :

Admission certificates (ACs) for the examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination will be issued to all applicants about two weeks before the date of examination. If any candidate does not receive admission certificate for the examination one week before the date of examination, he/she must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub regional office of the commission with proof of having submitted his/her application (in case of applications submitted under certificate of posting, the date-stamp of the post-office concerned should be clearly legible). Failure to do so will deprive him/her of any claim for consideration.

Exam Pattern :- SSC Stenographer Skill Test Pattern Will be as Follows.

The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The Skill Test Will be of Qualifying Nature. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer only. The evaluation of transcription will be done electronically only. The transcription time is as follows:-

For Stenographer Grade ‘D’:
50 minutes (English)
65 minutes (Hindi)

For Stenographer Grade ‘C’:
40 minutes (English)
55 Minutes (Hindi)
