Exam Pattern:- The Exam Pattern will be as Follows:

• The Exam Will be of Written Objective Type.
• The Question Paper Will be of 300 Questions/Marks.
• There will be no Negative Marking.

Trade Test

Candidates Who Qualifying/Bench Mark Trade Test will be required to undergo Written Examination. The Trade Test Benchmark Consists of the Following:

Note:- The Minimum benchmark set for Qualifying the Trade Test Average, Candidates awarded below average will not be allowed given Written Exam.

General English	100 Marks
General Knowledge	100 Marks
Elementary Mathematics	100 Marks
Total	300 Marks

Note : Minimum Qualifying marks of Written Exam Will be 33% in each Subject and 45% in aggregate

Exam Syllabus:- The Exam Syllabus is as Provided Below:

General English:

Questions will be aimed to test Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc

General Knowledge:-

Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports : championships/Winners/Terms/No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National : Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.

Elementary Mathematics:-

This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
