About Recruitment & Advt. No. 01/2018 :

Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has Recently announce about the Recruitment of 174 Posts of Steno Assistant Sub Inspector. Many Interested & Eligible Candidates Filled there Application form for these Posts. The Process of Submitting there Application form is Conducted Online. The Application Submission is Started From the Date 18.04.2018 and Conducted From the Date 24.05.2018. More Details About the Exam is Provided Below.

About Exam :

BPPSC Will Conducted the Written Exam for the Selection of Bihar Police Steno ASI Posts. The Preliminary Exam Will be Conducted soon & the Date Will be Announce Soon. The Written Exam Will be Conducted Offline. More Details About Exam is Provided Below.

Preliminary Exam

Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows :

  • The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
  • The Exam Will be of 100 Marks with 100 Questions.
  • The Time Duration of Written Exam Will be 1 1/2 Hours (90 Minutes).
  • The Question Paper Will be based on General Knowledge & Current Issues.
  • There Will be a Negative Marking of 0.02 Marks.

Minimum Qualifying Marks Will be 30%.

Exam Syllabus : The Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:

General Knowledge & Current Events : Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbors, Freedom Movement, Sports : championships/ Winners/ Terms /No. of Players, Defense, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National : Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.

Main Exam

Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows :

  • The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
  • There Will be Two Paper in Main Exam.
  • There Will be a Negative Marking of 0.02 Marks.

Paper 1

  • The Exam Will be of 100 Marks with 100 Questions.
  • The Question Paper Will be based on General Hindi.
  • The Time Duration of Written Exam Will be 1 1/2 Hours (90 Minutes).

Minimum Qualifying Marks Will be 30%.

Paper 2

  • The Exam Will be of 100 Marks with 100 Questions.
  • The Question Paper Will be based on General Hindi.
  • The Time Duration of Written Exam Will be 1 1/2 Hours (90 Minutes).
  • Second Paper Will be of General Study, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics and Mental Ability.

Exam Syllabus : The Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:

General Hindi : Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms,  Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

General Studies (History, Geography and politics) : Questions of Social Study will include Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of Geographical and Political condition of Bihar.

General Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) : Questions of General Science will include to test knowledge of matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject. It will Also Include the Knowledge of the Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Civics, Indian History, Geography of India : Questions of Social Study will include Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of Geographical and Political condition of Bihar.

Mathematics : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart and Data Interpretation etc.

Mental Ability Test : The test will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.

हिंदी श्रुतिलेखन :-

Hindi dictation test will be done by writing for 5 minutes at the speed of 80 words per minute. It will be given 20 minutes more time to be typed. There should be no more than 10% mistake to pass the typing Test.

टंकण की जांच :

Candidates need to be typed in computers in Hindi and English with minimum 30 (thirty) words per minute for 200 words in 10-10 minutes. To pass this, 5% in Hindi Typing and 10% in English typing should not be wrong.

Computer Knowledge :

Candidates Must have the Knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Internet.
