Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has recently announce about the recruitment of 1017 Posts of Officers Cadre, Librarian and Non-Teaching Posts for the year 2018. ► Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
► The Question Paper consists of 180 Questions and 180 marks.
► Each Question will be of 01 Marks.
► The Duration of Test is 03 (Three) Hours (180Minutes).

General English : Comprehension, One Word Substitution, synonyms and Anatomy, Spelling Error, spotting error in sentences, Grammar – Noun, Pronoun, Adjective Verb, Preposition Conjunction, Use of ‘A’, ‘AN’ and ‘THE’, idioms and phrases.

General Knowledge : Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Economy, Indian Polity & Constitution, Scientific Research, Awards, sports, current affairs-India & world.

Contemporary issues of Education : The Constitution Context, The Social Context of Educational Policy, A Thematic Focus on Educational Policy, Social and educational Reform, The System and its structures.

Management Aptitude : Management : its nature & scope; The Management Process, Role of manager in Organization, Leadership, Leadership Theories, HRD, Goals of HRD, career planing Theories of Motivation, Barriers of Communication, Role of IT.

General Hindi : तत्सम, तद्भव, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, मुहावरे और लोकोक्तियाँ, शुद्ध – अशुद्ध वाक्य, संधि विच्छेद, अलंकार और समास, वचन, लिंग, अनेकार्थी और वाकया के लिए एक शब्द

Quantitative Aptitude : Number System, Time and Work, Averages, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportions, Simple and Compound Interest, Time and Distance.

Official and Financial Procedure : Office Procedure & Office Management, General Financial Rules-2017, FR & SR, Medical Attendance Rules, Traveling Allowance Rules, LTC Rules, CCS Leave Rules, CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965, CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1965, CCS (Pension) Rules-1972, Joining Time Rules, Provident Fund Rules & New Pension Scheme, Reservation Policy.

Computer Literacy : Characteristics of Computers, Computer Organization including RAM, ROM, File System, Input Devices, Computer Software-Relationship between Hardware and Software, Operating System, MS- Office(exposure of Word, Excel/Spread Sheet,Power Point),Information Technology and Society-Indian IT Act, Digital Signature, Application of Indian Technology in government for E-Governance, mobile/ Smartphone’s< Information Kiosks.

Typing Test (Practical) : Typing Test only on computer : Net Typing Speed – English -40 w.p.m. or Hindi – 35 w.p.m.

Shorthand Test (Practical) : Shorthand Speed 80 w.p.m.

Computer Proficiency Test (Skill Test) : MS-Word, MS- Excel, MS- Access, MS- Power Point and Internet.
