Selection Process:

• Elimination Test (Objective Type – MCQs)
• Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type)
• Practical / Skill Test (Typing Test)

Elimination Test (Objective Type–MCQs)

Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern for Pre Exam will be as Follows:-

• The Exam Will be Objective Type.
• There Will be 100 Question/ Marks in the Exam.
• Time Duration of the Elimination Test shall be 2 Hours.
• Language of the Question Paper shall be English except Questions in Gujarati.
• There Will be a Negative Marking of 0.33 Marks.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories, i.e. SC, ST, SEBC & Differently Abled Persons [PH – only Orthopaedically disabled], shall have to secure minimum 55% Marks and all the other Candidates shall have to secure minimum 60% Marks.

Exam Syllabus: The Exam Syllabus for Pre Exam Will be as Follows:

(i) English Language

(ii) Gujarati Language

(iii) General Knowledge

(iv) Arithmetic

(v) Current Affairs

(vi) Indian History and Geography

(vii) Basics of Computer Applications

(viii) Sports

(ix) Analytical Reasoning

(x) Mental Ability etc.

Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type)

Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern for Main Exam will be as Follows:-

• The Exam Will be Descriptive Type.
• There Will be 60 Marks in the Exam.
• Time Duration of the Elimination Test shall be 90 Minutes.
• Language of the Question Paper shall be English.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories, i.e. SC, ST, SEBC & Differently Abled Persons [PH – only Orthopaedically disabled] , shall have to secure minimum 45% Marks and all the other Candidates shall have to secure minimum 50% Marks.

Exam Syllabus: Syllabus of Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type):

(i) English Language

(ii) Gujarati Language

(iii) General Knowledge

(iv) Basic Knowledge of Computer – Spreadsheet & Word Processing

Practical / Skill Test (Typing Test)

Typing Test of 40 Marks (Duration:10 Minutes) on Computer (English and/or Gujarati as the case may be), at Ahmedabad or at any other place(s) that may be decided by the High Court.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: A Candidate shall have to secure minimum 40% Marks in the Practical / Skill Test (Typing Test).
