About University :-
The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University is today among the 10largest Universities of the country with 3 campuses and more than 180 affiliated colleges/institutes and examining approximately 1.9 lakhs students annually. This was established under the U.P. State Universities Act 1973,in December 1973 by the name of Garhwal University and renamed Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University inthe memory of Late Shri Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, a distinguished National Leader, in 1989. As a mark of recognition of its importance and academic achievements, it has been upgraded as a Central University in January 2009, under the Central Universities Act-2009.

HNB University Every Year Conduct Examination For The Aspirants Who Want to get Admission In the University. Admission to various programs of study for the academic year 2018-19 was processed under two categories (Entrance and Counseling). Lots Of Students Had Enrolled Themselves To Appear In The Entrance Examination.
About Result :-
All The Applicants Who Successfully Go Through The Entrance Examination Are Now Waiting For Their Results. The Date of Entrance Tests : 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th June, 2018 And Entrance Test for B. Ed. Programme (2018-20) Was held on 8th June 2018 for three campuses (Srinagar, Pauri and Tehri) of the university. Now University Will Soon Release The Entrance Examination Result.
